  • BA Hons degree in Physical Education and School Sport
  • Cert III and IV in fitness
  • Kettle bells level 1 and 2
  • Mobility level 1

About Katy

From growing up in England and falling in love with sport at an early age (due to my overly competitive nature) I then completed a Physical Education degree. Fast forward and few years later I find  myself in Australia living by the beach. I soon realised that high school teaching wasn’t for me and discovered the fitness industry was where i wanted to be.

I get equally as excited as my clients when I see them achieve even the smallest of goals and watching their transformation week to week is definitely a highlight in my job.

I’ve found that i have a big interest in helping people not only with weight loss but also with rehabilitation. I love to help people gradually get back to their day to day activities or back into the sports they love that injury had prevented them from doing. Seeing my clients move pain free; develop better range of motion and moving from strength to strength is a fantastic feeling.

I constantly look to develop my skill set by researching new innovated techniques whilst keeping training sessions fun and effective.

Hobbies

Like i said earlier I have played sport for a long as I can remember growing up I was either sailing, rock climbing, dragon boat racing, playing netball, soccer or anything I could to keep moving. These days i still play Netball and also Oztag, I attempt to surf but not very well and I’ve been known to do a really good worm on the dance floor of friends weddings.
